10 main subway lines (Lines 1-9, light-rail, Ui LRT) and 2 Incheon subway lines (Incheon Lines 1, 2) are crossing the key points of Seoul as well as suburbs and satellite cities.
All subway stations are indicated in Korean, English and numbers. The transfer station is indicated with a Taegeuk (yin-yang) mark.

Note for subway + bus transfer

  • Subway + bus transfer is free for one time, but the distance according to the basic fare is equally applied and the surcharge per exceeding km will be charged.
  • If you fail to tag a transportation card when boarding/getting off of public transportation, additional fare may be added when you ride a bus or a subway in other area.
